Describe what a guide does.[edit | edit source]

A guide is a person who leads anyone through unknown or unmapped country. This includes a guide of the real world (such as someone who conducts travellers and tourists through a place of interest), as well as a person who leads someone to more abstract places (such as to knowledge or wisdom).

Draw a map or give your group directions to your house.[edit | edit source]

Be able to lead someone to the following locations[edit | edit source]

  • post office
  • grocery store
  • phone booth
  • police station
  • church
  • school

Demonstrate how to ask directions, and list people whom you can safely ask.[edit | edit source]

As a group, organize a trip to and visit one of the following[edit | edit source]

  • museum
  • fire station
  • art festival
  • water-treatment plant
  • monument
  • police station
  • factory

You have been a guide to different places, but who is our guide according to Psalm 48:14?[edit | edit source]

For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.
