Furniture in Punjabi is ਸਜਣਾ. ਕੁਰਸੀ and ਮੇਜ਼ are the most commonly used articles of furniture.
- ਕੁਰਸੀ = chair
- ਮੇਜ਼ = table
- ਸੋਫ਼ਾ/ਗੱਦਾ = sofa
- ਮੰਜਾ/ਸੇਜ = bed
- ਗੱਦਾ = matteress
- ਤਖਤ = throne
- ਤਖਤਪੋਸ਼ = a broad wooden piece of furniture for sitting or squatting on
- ਬੈਂਚ = bench
- ਡੈਸਕ = desk
- ਸਟੂਲ = stool
- ਚੌਕੀ = a low broad stool
- ਪੀਹੜੀ = A small and low woven piece of furniture to sit on.
- ਮੂਹੜਾ = mat
- ਸੰਦੂਕ = wooden or iron trunk
- ਅਲਮਾਰੀ = wardrobe
