Installation of Palo Databases[edit | edit source]

For section 5, you will need the database “ROSA_Base_Model_Database” and “ROSA_n” Excel file.

Install the database as follows:

The Palo server and the Excel Add-In must be properly installed before continuing with the next step. Download and install Palo from Jedox.

Stop the Palo Server Manager; find the icon in the Task Bar (System tray) as shown in image here.

Paste the supplied database in the following folder:

C:\Program_Files\Jedox\Palo\data

Or

C:\Documents_and_Settings\All_Users\Documents\Jedox\Palo\data

The path will depend on your Excel version. Copy the database into the same folder as where Palo has put their demo databases.

Start the Palo Server Manager again. You should now see the database on the Palo Modeller under the Localhost server.

Note: The server “Localhost” must be registered using the Palo Wizard in the Modeller.
