Wikibooks:Bureaucrats

Bureaucrats are Wikibooks users, usually administrators, with the technical ability to perform the following actions:

• Add (but not remove) the following user groups to a user account: administrator and bureaucrat.
• Add and remove the following user groups from a user account: account creator, bot, confirmed user, and interface administrator.

Some of the above abilities overlap with administrators who are able to add and remove the account creator and confirmed user groups.

Bureaucrats are responsible for judging community consensus in granting advanced permissions listed at Wikibooks:Requests for permissions. However, Wikibooks currently has no local bureaucrats at this time, so requests for administrator, bot, and interface administrator permissions (via RFP) are handled at Steward requests/Permissions and Steward requests/Bot status on Meta-Wiki, respectively.
