Non-suspension strangulation is a type of strangulation that does not require the suspension of the physical body.
There are two sorts of non-suspension strangulation:
- Ligature strangulation - applied by the use of a cord-like object.
- Manual strangulation - applied by use of the fingers or an other extremity.
