Hypericum sect. Roscyna[edit]

Section Roscyna contains the great or giant St. John's wort (Hypericum ascyron), which is native to Asia and northeastern North America. As the New York Flora Atlas does not distinguish between subspecies of this plant, it is not clear whether there are any naturalized Asian subspecies present in New York.
