I don't know where to begin! Your life story was enough to keep me reading and reading and reading! You have the same career goals as I do, and that is also exciting to me. I really like how you separated the words "fun" and "enjoyable." I completely agree that one thing that we, as educators should teach is how students should be able to change their situations if they so desire. Reality is life is definetly not fun at all time, but any situation can be enjoyable if we choose to make it! Lastly, I would much appreciate help in finding out how to make my page as exciting as yours through use of colors! You did a great job on this page! First let me say WOW!!! What a wonderful page!!! I have not gotten that sophisticated with wiki yet. I am amazed at all the traveling you have done. I hope to get some more states under my belt before too long. So far, its only been the Atlantic side of the US for me. I agree as well with the fun and enjoyable concept. I have enjoyed looking/reading your page and will see you soon in class. Kristin Kgors001 (talk) 20:09, 13 September 2008 (UTC)kgors001Reply

Mimi, you have done an excellent job with your page!! Hopefully one day I will be able to say that I have traveled as much as you. I really like how you emphasized that each student is different and learns at a different pace. This is exactly how I feel. When a teacher can connect with his/her students and make learning an enjoyable experience everybody wins. I also agree with you that respect is not automatic, it must be earned. When a teacher can foster an environment with mutual respect and enjoyable learning experiences, that teachers is successful. Heidi Hlame001 (talk) 13:09, 14 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

WOW I've got to say I am a bit jealous you have traveled so many places; I've gotten the opportunity to travel on two occassions & it opened my eyes to many different cultures! I also LOVED your teaching philosophy, I think you have a lot of worldly knowledge & you incorperate it into all aspects of your life. It was wonderful to read about how connected you are to your family they must be a big part of your life, and really supportive of you. :) Hpoer001 (talk) 02:17, 15 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
