Here is a list of bosses in the Kirby series outside of King Dedede, Meta Knight, Nightmare, Dark Matter, Dark Mind, and Drawcia. These are characters that Kirby often faces somewhere in the middle of or at the end of a level, but not ones from the end of the game.

0[edit | edit source]

0 is the resident universal dominator who serves as the ultimate evil in Kirby's universe, besides Nightmare. It controls all of Dark Matter and made its first appearance at the end of Kirby's Dream Land 3 as the second and third forms of Dark Matter (its second form is actually the red eyeball in the center of its body), and has since returned in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards also as that game's secret final boss, this time depicted as the ghost of 0, with wings and a halo. In this form, it is known as 0² (Zero Two, as confirmed by the Hoshi no Kirby 64 Original Soundtrack title).

Acro[edit | edit source]

Acro is an orca killer whale who first appeared as a boss in Kirby's Dream Land 3. Her name is "orca" spelled backwards. She also appeared in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards as the boss of Aqua Star.

Ado[edit | edit source]

Ado, is a human, effeminate boy (quite possibly the only human who lives on Pop Star) who is a painter. He appeared in Kirby's Dream Land 3, where he is the boss at the end of Level 4, Cloudy Park after being possessed by Dark Matter. He paints four bosses, (Ice Dragon, Sweet Stuff, Mr. Shine & Mr. Bright, and Kracko) that Kirby has to fight before he can fight Ado head-on. When he does, all Kirby has to do is slide into him to defeat him. If Kirby has all the Heart Stars from that level after beating him, Ado will paint three things for Kirby's pleasure.

Ado is not to be confused with Adeleine, a similar character from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. The difference is that Adeleine has black hair and blue eyes, while Ado has brown hair and brown eyes. Nintendo of Japan has confirmed that they are different, as they are referred to as different characters on the Japanese sites for their games.

Batafire[edit | edit source]

Batafire (Fire Bat in Japan) is a large flaming bat-like monster from Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. It goes to the center of the screen and shoots fire balls. Upon being defeated, it can be inhaled for the Burning ability.

Big Metalum[edit | edit source]

Big Metalum is a larger version of the basic Metalum, with a single-blue-eyed head with a metal hat on it, and arms. He's pretty tough if the player is not careful, as he has a good amount of health. He rolls around quickly to attack his opponent, and stomps around making rocks fall from the ceiling, which Kirby can inhale as ammo. He appears in Kirby: Squeak Squad where Kirby can inhale him for the Metal ability after winning against him.

Blocky[edit | edit source]

Blocky is a block of rock that appears in both Kirby's Dream Land 2 and 3 as a mini-boss that Kirby can inhale for the Stone ability. He attacks by either triple-jumping and then slamming down on the ground or charging walls; whatever he does, he makes little rocks for Kirby to inhale and fire back at him. His appearance is based on the Rocky enemies in the Adventures of Lolo series as well as other Eggerland games.

He also appears in the anime. (See: Blocky in the anime)

Boboo[edit | edit source]

Boboo is a large Bobo who appeared as a mini-boss in Kirby's Dream Land 3, similar to Efrite from Kirby's Dream Land 2. He simply charges at Kirby, and when he hits the wall fragments of him fall off and can be spat back at him. After defeat, he can be inhaled him for the Fire ability.

Bombar[edit | edit source]

Bombar (Aero Star in Japan) is an airplane monster who is the rarest mini-boss in Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. He attacks with bombs and missiles. Inhale him or his missiles for the Missile ability, or his bombs for the Bomb ability.

Bonkers[edit | edit source]

Bonkers first appears in Kirby's Adventure. His appearance is that of a gorilla-like, armor-wearing creature wielding a massive hammer. Its main color is most often purple.

He attacks with the hammer as well as throwing exploding coconuts. Upon defeating him, Kirby gains the Hammer ability. In Kirby Super Star, Kirby can create a Bonkers helper from the Hammer ability, though the helper is incapable of tossing coconuts. He appears again in Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland and Kirby and the Amazing Mirror as a mini-boss. He is the only enemy that gives the Hammer ability, which is often very useful for hitting special switches. Screenshots also suggest he will appear in the upcoming Kirby game for the Wii.

Bonkers also appears in the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! anime as a friendly character who used to live in the jungles until a circus caught him and forced him to perform. One night he saw one of the clowns watch his favorite show, which turned out to be Kirby. That's how Bonkers got inspired to meet Kirby in person, so he set off to find him. Bonkers is very polite and wants to find Kirby so he can train with him. Dedede of course does his best to mess things up for the ape, like having the Nightmare Enterprises salesman turn him into a monster. But everything turns out okay in the end, and Bonkers leaves Dream Land to train on his own, taking with him a photo of him and his hero, Kirby.

Box Boxer[edit | edit source]

Box Boxer (Bow Fighter in Japan) is a monster from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror that appears to be a pug dog head with floppy ears, and a pair of feet. He is one of the harder mini-bosses and uses fighting skills with his ears as arms. Inhale him for the Fighter ability.

Boxy[edit | edit source]

Boxy is a box/plant monster who appears in Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, and Kirby: Squeak Squad. She throws deadly presents out at Kirby and can be inhaled for the Magic ability. The presents are not always hazardous however, as they can contain useful items if you "open" them by standing near them.

Buboo[edit | edit source]

Buboo is a small crab concealing himself within bubbles, appearing in Kirby: Squeak Squad. The bubbles he blows can easily be inhaled by Kirby and fired back at him. When he runs out of bubbles to use, Buboo madly runs across the floor until he stops to make more bubbles. Upon defeated and inhaled, he gives Kirby the Bubble ability.

Bugzzy[edit | edit source]

Bugzzy is a large stag beetle-like monster that was first found in Kirby's Adventure. It has the ability to fly up into the air and slowly hover, shoot out small beetle creatures that go towards Kirby, and can fly across the ground and grab Kirby, flipping him over or throwing him for damage. These attacks cannot be blocked with Shield. Defeating and inhaling Bugzzy in Kirby Super Star results in getting the Suplex ability, which allows Kirby to pick up and flip/throw enemies around. In Kirby's Adventure and the remake, Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland, he gives Kirby the Backdrop ability.

He appears in the anime as a sword-wielding Monster. For information on his role in the series, see here.

Buu-Robo[edit | edit source]

Buu-Robo is a robot from Kirby's Block Ball who attacks by launching her fists at her enemies.

Cappy[edit | edit source]

Cappy, the famous[citation needed] mushroom enemy, gets his one and only chance of being a boss in Kirby's Block Ball.

Captain Stitch[edit | edit source]

Captain Stitch is a round metal ball covered in spikes with an angry face, resembling a larger version of a Gordo. It appears in both Kirby's Dream Land 2 and 3 as a mini-boss that Kirby can inhale for the Needle ability. Its attacks involve charging at Kirby and throwing off its own spikes. Whenever it charges, it always runs into the walls, which will also knock off its spikes. Captain Stitch is only vulnerable when it does not have any of its spikes, so Kirby must inhale them and spit them back at him before he grows back new ones.

Captain Stitch also appears in the prototype for the Kirby anime.

Combo Cannon[edit | edit source]

The Combo Cannon is a mechanical twin cannon from Kirby Super Star from the Revenge of the Meta Knight segment. It is the bow section of Meta Knight's battleship Halberd and includes a giant main turret that fires over-sized Shotzo cannonballs, several bomb-dropping robotic arms, and a huge laser cannon.

Computer Virus[edit | edit source]

A digital entity in Kirby Super Star, the Computer Virus (Battle Windows in Japan) appears as a series of windows from which it produces monsters for Kirby to fight. Which monsters it uses depends on which game mode is being played. In The Great Cave Offensive, it creates a Slime, a Dancing Doll, and a Witch. In Milkyway Wishes and The Arena, it creates a Witch, an Evil Knight, and a Red Dragon. The Virus parodies the turn-based combat systems of certain computer role-playing games in the sense that both the monster it's using and Kirby take turns attacking the other. It also uses its windows to announce whether the combatants were hit or were able to avoid an attack as well as how many damage points were received. The parody continues after Kirby wins the battle, as the Virus awards him "experience points" and a plethora of various other "attribute points".

Cook Kawasaki[edit | edit source]

Cook Kawasaki (also known as Chef Kawasaki) is an orange, kidney bean-shaped creature with stubby limbs, who wears an apron and chef's hat and uses a frying pan as his weapon. He first appeared in Kirby Super Star, and has appeared briefly in Kirby's Dream Land 3 and Nightmare in Dream Land. In Super Star, Kirby could copy the Cook ability from Cook Kawasaki, which could be used to transform enemies into food.

In the Kirby anime, Cook Kawasaki was a regular character who ran a restaurant, but served lousy tasting food.

Dark Meta Knight[edit | edit source]

Dark Meta Knight appears in Kirby & the Amazing Mirror as the boss in Radish Ruins (one of the areas in the game) and as one of the final bosses. He is an evil mirror version of Meta Knight, and fights in the same manner, using similar moves Meta Knight used in both Kirby Super Star and Nightmare in Dream Land.

Dark Nebula[edit | edit source]

Dark Nebula is the final boss of Kirby: Squeak Squad. It appears as a glowing/flaming black star with a red/pink, feline eye in the center. It attacks by firing stars as well as laser beams and fireballs, and Kirby uses the Triple Star to fight him right after he defeats Dark Daroach. Dark Nebula also holds the final treasure chest in the game.

Daroach[edit | edit source]

Daroach is the boss of Level 6: Ice Island in Kirby: Squeak Squad. See The Squeaks for more information.

Dark Daroach[edit | edit source]

Dark Daroach is Daroach when possessed by Dark Nebula. He is the boss of Level 8: Gamble Galaxy in Kirby: Squeak Squad. He is darker and has more attacks than the normal Daroach.

Doc[edit | edit source]

Doc is a small white mouse with a green moustache wearing glasses with red swirls in them. He is part of The Squeaks, a thieving group of mice from Kirby: Squeak Squad. He himself is very weak, so he mainly fights Kirby from inside a fast-moving UFO that he shoots lasers from a small satellite dish, blasts at Kirby with clouds of dust from a vacuum cleaner-like machine, or drops bombs from a mechanical claw.

Dyna Blade[edit | edit source]

Dyna Blade is the Bird of Legend from Kirby Super Star and final boss of the eponymous segment. Initially she is angry and attacked Pop Star's crops for some unknown reason, which later turns to be that she needed to feed her babies. Her head is her weakness. Dyna Blade later helped Kirby get onto the Halberd, an airship commanded by Meta Knight.

Efreeti (Efrite)[edit | edit source]

Efreeti is a fiery monster from Kirby's Dream Land 2, similar to Boboo in Kirby's Dream Land 3. He simply charges at Kirby, and when he hits the wall, fragments of him fall off and can be spit back at him. Inhale him for the Burning ability. His name is derived from Ifrit, a being in Arabian mythology that embodied fire. Efreeti also appears as one of Nightmare's monsters in the prototype anime.

Fatty Whale[edit | edit source]

Fatty Whale is a large pipe-smoking whale in Kirby Super Star. Kirby fights him from a long wooden pier, and he spins and leaps in the air to injure Kirby. He also periodically flips high into the air, sending Kirby flying in the resulting spray; rocks and fish that fall after the spray can also hurt him. Using the Stone power, though, Kirby can avoid being launched. When hit, the center of Fatty Whale's body flashes yellow.

Fire Lion[edit | edit source]

Fire Lion is a fiery lion monster who first appeared in Kirby's Adventure, and later in the remake Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland. He can pounce and turn into a fireball in order to ram enemies in his fireball state. Upon defeat, he can be inhaled for the Burning ability. Fire Lion also had a role in the anime.

Fire Owl[edit | edit source]

Fire Owl (BohBoh in Japan) is a flaming owl/tanuki known for his signature raccoon tail, flame-like wings and a flame on his forehead. He flies around the arena vigorously while dropping fireballs, and attacks his enemies by dive-bombing them, and will burn anyone who is unlucky enough to bump into him. He can also cause rocks to fall from the top of the screen if he manages to crash onto the floor. He is the boss of Level 5: Vocal Volcano in Kirby: Squeak Squad, and upon defeat can be inhaled to give Kirby the Fire ability. He may look like he's always smiling, but the "smile" is actually just a mark.

Gaogao[edit | edit source]

Gaogao is a large, blue gopher with long arms. He merely hops around, stopping to attack by spinning, making stars while dizzying himself in the process, all of which can be inhaled by Kirby as ammo. He also spins into the air, then crashes down onto the ground, which will make more stars for Kirby to inhale. He appears in Kirby: Squeak Squad and contains the Animal ability.

Ghameleoarm[edit | edit source]

Ghameleoarm is a chameleon monster that attacks in Kirby Super Star. He attacks by rolling, trying to hook Kirby with his claws and just plain eating Kirby for lunch. Ghameleoarm also disappears to confuse Kirby. He appears in The Great Cave Offensive and Milky Way Wishes, and was one of the two enemies that Kirby could get the Paint ability from.

Grand Wheelie[edit | edit source]

A larger version of Wheelie who first appeared as a mini-boss in Kirby's Adventure, and later in the remake Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. He charges at Kirby and fires smaller Wheelies at him. He can, unsurprisingly, be inhaled for the Wheel ability.

Gobbler[edit | edit source]

Gobbler (Gabriel in Japan) is a shark monster wearing an inner tube from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. He swims around spewing out mini-versions of himself and can charge at Kirby. Fighting him on the land portion is more dangerous, as he can also leap out of the water to try and hit Kirby. Possibly a mirror version of Sweet Stuff or Acro.

Grill[edit | edit source]

Grill is a young witch wearing a purple-and-yellow striped hat with a small star block attached to it and red jester-like shoes and riding on a broom who travels the galaxy looking for a challenge, alongside her assistants, who look like scallions with hands, feet, and faces. The names of her assistants are Sugar (the one who always keeps his eyes closed), Salt (the happy-looking one), and Pepper (the one who always has an angry expression in his eyes). Her appearance is in Kirby's Sparkling Kids, where she appears after Dedede as the secret final boss and can only be battled if all other opponents are beaten the first time.

Haboki[edit | edit source]

Haboki is a broom monster who appears in Kirby's Dream Land 3 that simply sweeps the ground and jumps around. Inhale it for the Broom ability. It also appears in the prototype anime as one of Nightmare's monsters.

Halberd's Reactor[edit | edit source]

A boss in Kirby's Super Star and the Halberd's core. It is defended by flamethrowers in the floor, a wave cannon, and small security reflect laser turrets. It is only defeated by tricking the "reflect lasers" into shooting at the core's crystal.

Heavy Lobster[edit | edit source]

A boss from Kirby Super Star in the Revenge of Meta Knight section. It is a large, gold mech that resembles a lobster, is one of Meta Knight's strongest weapons, and is one of the harder bosses in the game. It can shoot out fire streams from its claws, as well as miniature Heavy Lobsters and paint blobs. Heavy Lobster is one of the few enemies that gives Kirby the "Paint" copy ability via the aforementioned rare blob that it drops.

Kirby can use the Paint ability to blind it. When Heavy Lobster is blind, it turns from its normal yellow color to red. It also appears in Milky Way Wishes as the boss of Mecheye.

It appears in the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! anime as a laser-firing monster with a thick and hard to penetrate armor, but the Ice ability works on it quite well. It was one of Nightmare's most powerful monsters, and also the final monster Nightmare sent to attack Kirby. It has been notied by Anime fans that it resembles Corphish a character form the Pokemon Franchise.

Heavy Mole[edit | edit source]

A mechanical digging monster from Kirby's Adventure who shoots Dyglops at Kirby while underground. Nightmare Enterprises Monster Mole is often confused with this typical boss.

HR-H/HR-E[edit | edit source]

A boss from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards that starts out as a humanoid robot that fires missiles, shoots lasers, and swings its arms, then turns into a flying ship with missiles to fire and scissor-like arms.

Ice Dragon[edit | edit source]

A creature who first appears in Kirby's Dream Land 2 as the boss of Level 4, Iceberg. Its attacks are rather easy to anticipate. It flies around by wagging its tail, breathing cold breath that can turn Kirby into an ice cube if it hits him. In addition, it jumps into the air and slams down, causing icicles to rain on Kirby's head, which he can inhale and spit back at it. The ice blocks it tosses in Kirby's path are also easily inhaled as ammo as well. It has a rather easy bonus stage to finish after he defeats it, as the icicles that rain on his head as he goes collecting the stars are easy to dodge. The Ice Dragon later returns as one of Ado's paintings at the end of Level 4: Cloudy Park in Kirby's Dream Land 3. Adeleine also paints at the end of the second stage of Level 1: Pop Star in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. The Ice Dragon also appears in the anime. (See: Ice Dragon in the anime)

Iron Mom[edit | edit source]

She has a pretty pink bow in her hair, she's short, she wears pink shoes and boxing gloves, and she's sheathed in blue spiked armor. She is a mini-boss in Kirby Super Star who carries the Fighter ability and is also referred to as Smasher or Lady Boxer. Some fans think that she is actually a boy who think she is a girl, which may reference to Birdo.

Jukido[edit | edit source]

A guy with floating hands, a Karate Gi, and purple flesh. He's from Kirby Super Star, and he possesses the Suplex ability.

Jumpershoot[edit | edit source]

Jumpershoot is a umbrella-like monster with one large eye that appears in both Kirby's Dream Land 2 and 3 as a mini-boss that Kirby can inhale for the Parasol ability. It attacks by kicking off the single sandal it wears and spinning around, which sometimes leaves it invulnerable for a few seconds. Kirby can inhale the sandal and spit it back out at him for damage.

It is based on the legendary Japanese creature Karakasa.

Kabu[edit | edit source]

Another basic enemy attempts to be a boss in Kirby's Block Ball.

King Golem[edit | edit source]

King Golem is the first boss you will face in Kirby and the Amazing Mirror (Unless you take the alternate route to Candy Constellation, in which case Master Hand & Crazy Hand are the first boss). He is nothing more than a giant golem that looks like a rook chess piece with a face and feet. Fighting him is the same as if you were fighting Whispy Woods, with the exception of the fact that he spits out Golems instead of puffs of air, and causes rocks and Gordos to fall from the ceiling instead of apples. He yields the first piece of the Mirror Gate when defeated.

Most likely the mirror version of Whispy Woods.

Kaboola[edit | edit source]

Kaboola is a large blimp holding a Shotzo. Kirby gained infinite flight with an item called the Mint Leaf, and then attacked Kaboola with puffs of air from his mouth. Kaboola is only remembered in two games: Kirby's Dream Land and Kirby's Block Ball. In the latter, Kirby used the ball form given to him for the entire game and rammed Kaboola repeatedly. Kaboola made cameo appearances in both of the current Super Smash Brothers games flying in the background of the Dream Land stage.

Kracko[edit | edit source]

Kracko Jr.[edit | edit source]

Another name for the cloudless version of Kracko, though they are the same being.

Lololo and Lalala[edit | edit source]

Two tag-team twins. They are based on Lolo and Lala from the Adventures of Lolo/Eggerland series.

Magman[edit | edit source]

A lava monster from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards who uses lava and other fire attacks against Kirby. In the Japanese version he is known as Yogan.

Master Green[edit | edit source]

A jellyfish monster with electric tentacles who serves as a mini-boss in Kirby's Dreamland 2. He summons sparks to attack. Inhale him for the Spark ability. He also appears in the prototype anime as one of Nightmare's monsters.

Marx[edit | edit source]

Marx (Mark in the original Japanese version) is a jester-like enemy who is final boss in Kirby Super Star, in both Milky Way Wishes and The Arena. He also makes a cameo in Kirby: Squeak Squad.

Master Hand[edit | edit source]

Master Hand is the main boss in the Super Smash Bros. series who also appears in Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. It can fire bullets, slam Kirby against the wall, grab kirby, and turn into stone and land on top of Kirby. It also appears with Crazy Hand in Candy Constellation as the bosses. Inhale it for the Smash ability, which grants Kirby his special (B) moves from Super Smash Bros. Melee. He also makes an appearance in Kirby: Squeak Squad as an enemy.

Master Hand and Crazy Hand[edit | edit source]

The former was a mini-boss in Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, though both of their first appearances came from the Super Smash Bros. series. Unlike Master hand alone, however, they have tag attacks (one in which they clap their hands together).

Mecha-Kracko[edit | edit source]

The Mecha-Kracko is a Kracko-like Mech piloted by Doc of the Squeak Squad. It looks and acts the same as its non-robotic counterpart, plus it has some of its own moves, which include surrounding itself with lightning as it moves sideways across the screen. It is the boss of Level 3: Cushy Clouds Kirby: Squeak Squad.

Mega Titan[edit | edit source]

A robot that comes in 2 forms. The first form is an armored, hovering robot, only affected by the Spark and Beam ability and the electric barriers on the walls. After the first form is defeated, the second form spawns, which is the Mega Titan's head, named Titan Head, he can be attacked with any ability or by his own missiles.

Meta-Knights[edit | edit source]

The Meta-Knights are a group of soldiers led by Meta Knight, who often uses them to test Kirby's skills throughout Kirby's Adventure, which is their first appearance. The Meta-Knights include Axe Knight, Mace Knight, Javelin Knight, and Trident Knight. In the US, their names are Meta Axe, Meta Chain, Meta Droid, and Meta Lance. They are four distinct armored soldiers that each wield the weapon they're named for. Meta Axes move along the floor, swinging axes around, so attack them from behind; they don't turn around. Meta Chains swing their maces over their heads and shoots them out for considerable range and power. Meta Droids look like black pods that jumps around the room, and occasionally flashes and summons a spear to grab and spin with, until it discards it. Meta Lances moves forwards and backwards until it tosses an electrified trident at you. He throws them where you are, so range is not important.

The Meta-Knights return in Kirby Super Star where they aided Meta Knight in his attempt to conquer Dream Land via his warship, the Halberd. As their first appearance was in Kirby's Adventure, the four knights also appear in Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, the Game Boy Advance remake.

Miracle Matter[edit | edit source]

Miracle Matter is a form of Dark Matter that is fought at the end of Ripple Star in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, and appears to be the final boss until all of the Crystal Shards are collected. It appears to be a white icosahedron with 20 red eyes, with one eye on each face, and is able to transform into all seven of Kirby's abilities in that game. To defeat it, Kirby must attack it by inhaling its projectiles and spitting them back at it when it has the same ability as the projectiles he has inhaled. Alternatively, Kirby can also use his abilities against it, though he can only hurt it with the same ability that Kirby is possessing. As Miracle Matter's health meter nears depletion, its eyes start to turn completely black, one at a time.

Moley[edit | edit source]

A mole monster from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, he burrows and has 6 places to pop up, and if you get to close before he emerges he will go back underground, he throws items at you, some give abilities. Regardless, he's not that hard.

Mr. Frosty[edit | edit source]

An anthropomorphic walrus monster who first appeared in Kirby's Adventure, and later in Kirby's Dreamland 2, the remake of Kirby's Adventure Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland and Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. He attacks by sliding ice cubes on the floor or dashing and slamming to the wall. He also occasionally taunts the player by shaking his bare butt at him/her. Inhale him for the Ice (or Freeze depending on game) ability. In Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, his name was "Mr. Flosty" due to a translation error.

Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright[edit | edit source]

Mr. Shine & Mr. Bright are tag-team bosses first appearing in Kirby's Adventure at the end of Level 3, Butter Buildings. Mr. Shine appears as a crescent moon with a face and limbs, while Mr. Bright is a sun with similar features. As their type suggests, they love to fight tag-team style. One in the air will rain down beams or make stars falls for Kirby to spit out at the one on the ground, who will throw projectiles or try to ram into him.

Kirby's Dream Land 2 is quite a popular appearance for both of them because of their famous eclipse attack, where they both come together causing Mr. Shine to shade a small part of the area, giving Kirby little time to run there as fast as he can before Mr. Bright attacks with his burning heat. After both are defeated, they crash into each other in the background, making a fireworks display. Ado also paints Mr. Shine & Mr. Bright at the end of Cloudy Park in Kirby's Dream Land 3. Mr. Shine & Mr. Bright also get cameo appearances on the tips of Slice n' Splice's sun and moon rods in the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! anime.

Mr. Tick Tock[edit | edit source]

An alarm clock monster that runs around ringing and shooting musical notes in Kirby's Adventure and the remake Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. Inhale him for the Mike ability.

Mrs. Moley[edit | edit source]

Mrs. Moley is the boss of Level 2: Nature Notch in Kirby: Squeak Squad. She is a similar boss to Moley from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, though in fact she is Moley's wife. She can also jump from any of the holes in the background and try to fall on Kirby. She is noted for wearing flowers on top of her head. She is probably trying to avenge her husband's defeat.

Nova[edit | edit source]

One of the final bosses in Kirby Super Star. Unlike other bosses in the series, Kirby must destroy some pillars that support this mechanical being, in a scrolling shooter-like section.

Nruff and Nelly[edit | edit source]

Tag-team boar-like monsters from Kirby's Dreamland 2. Nruff is the big boar, while Nelly is actually a little boar that Kirby can inhale and spew at Nruff. There are several Nellies. Nruff later appears as a regular enemy in Kirby's Dream Land 3.

Orbservor[edit | edit source]

Orbservor is an eyeball monster that is a common boss in Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble. Kirby will fight him several times, each time with a change in tactics. His eye is his weak point, after which in the third and fifth fights he makes up for it by closing his eyes when he gets close to Kirby on a launch pad. He is known as Megaita in the Japanese version.

Paint Roller[edit | edit source]

Paint Roller first appeared as the boss of Ice Cream Island in Kirby's Adventure, in a small room with nothing but a floor, two platforms and four canvases. It wears a baseball cap and roller skates, and rolls around the room, drawing enemies that come to life and attack Kirby. It guarded the second fragment of the Star Rod as King Dedede has instructed. It later appears in the remake of Kirby's Adventure, titled Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, and then later appeared in Kirby: Canvas Curse as one of Drawcia's clones, in a boss level where the player had to help Kirby from being popped by using the Magic Paintbrush to finish all of his games.

Paint Roller also appears in the anime. It appears in the Kirby anime episode, "Dedede's Monsterpiece". He made his debut when he was delivered to King Dedede, who didn't care about fine art. He went to Dedede's newly-built art museum, where he went around messing with the paintings. Kirby inhaled PR's paintbrush, and became Paint Kirby. They dueled and dodged with their paintings, which can come to life, as well as their roller blades. Kirby eventually got the best of Paint Roller with a painted missile of his, which homed in on the monster and his painted bomb, causing a massive, messy paint explosion that took out the entire art museum and splattered paint all over Kirby in the process.

Phan Phan[edit | edit source]

An elephant monster that replaced Rolling Turtle in Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, also appearing in Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. He rolls into a ball and eats Kirby and burps him out. Phan Phan also fires apples.

Pix[edit | edit source]

Pix is a group of three rainbow-colored diamond-shaped crystals that appears in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards as the boss at the end of Rock Star. The three colors the Pix crystals come in are red, green, and blue. The fight Kirby has with Pix starts with the puffball riding up a circular elevator, where players have to help him avoid the energy spikes that the Pix crystals will attack him with. When the elevator reaches the top of the tower, Kirby will then be able to hurt the crystals.

Pix attacks Kirby with energy spikes, energy blasts, or flying around the arena as a group. Kirby can either attack the crystals with abilities or just spit the molecules at them. Hitting each of the crystals with a molecule that corresponds to its color does the most damage. For example, Kirby should hit the green crystal with green molecules. For every crystal that breaks after it takes enough damage no matter how many hits it takes, it becomes hollow and can't hurt Kirby anymore. It also sometimes causes Pix to change its methods of attacks. After all three are broken, they move to the center and blow up, giving Kirby their big Crystal Shard.

Pon and Con[edit | edit source]

The fox (Con) and tanuki (Pon) tag-team monsters from Kirby's Dream Land 3. Their reckless destruction was due to being corrupted by Dark Matter.

Poppy Bros. Sr.[edit | edit source]

A larger version of Poppy Bros. who first appeared in Kirby's Adventure and the remake Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. He can throw out bombs like it's smaller counterpart and it can appear in later levels with another Poppy Bros. Sr., where they will exchange places and fire bombs. Inhale him/them for the Bomb or Crash ability, depending on the game.

Rolling Turtle[edit | edit source]

A turtle who is the hardest mini-boss in Kirby's Adventure. He spins around the area, grabbing Kirby upon contact and tossing him, or firing turtles at Kirby. Inhale for the Throw ability. In the remake, Rolling Turtle is replaced by Phan Phan, who grants the same ability.

Spinni[edit | edit source]

Spinni (Spin in the Japanese version) is a small, yellow mouse who wears red sunglasses, a red scarf, and orange shoes. He is noted for being the fastest member of the Squeaks on his feet. When Spinni appears, it's usually a race against him to see who can claim the treasure chest he's after first.

Sue-Body[edit | edit source]

Like Kracko Jr., Sue-Body is Buu-Robo's original form without the robotic armor.

Squeakers[edit | edit source]

Squeakers (Chulins in the Japanese version) are small mice that appear as backup for the Squeaks. They come in four colors; red, green, yellow, and blue. They appear to occupy the members of the Squeaks, but are the weakest members of the gang, which is why there are several of them. The yellow Squeakers just hop around after Kirby, the green ones are the bomb throwers which can be avoided easily, but the blue ones are possibly the most dangerous if not taken care of quickly. They throw massive bombs which don't detonate immediately, but when they do, the explosion is quite large. The red Squeakers only appeared in the cutscene after battling King Dedede, so officially, none have been seen on the field.

Squishy[edit | edit source]

Like Cappy, a common enemy becomes a one-shot boss in Kirby's Block Ball. He also appears in {[Kirby's Avalanche]}.

Storo[edit | edit source]

Storo (Stron in the Japanese version) is a big, blue, bulky mouse wearing a red sleeveless shirt, a red pirate bandana, and a pirate patch. Being the largest of the crew, he is hard to topple, and any time he appears is usually a test to evade the hulking beast. His attacks involve smushing Kirby (i.e. hammer).

Sweet Stuff[edit | edit source]

An angler fish monster from Kirby's Dream Land 2 who was corrupted by Dark Matter. It also appears in Kirby's Dream Land 3 as one of Ado's paintings. He returned in the prototype anime as one of Nightmare's monsters.

Tedhaun[edit | edit source]

In Kirby: Squeak Squad, once Kirby completes the Ghost Medal by finding all 7 pieces hidden within treasure chests, each world will have one mini-boss replaced with this particular character, namely Tedhaun. Tedhaun is a ghost in a shade of purple with a purple hat who flies around having smaller versions of himself surround himself. These smaller versions will explode when hit with everything Kirby's got. If he hits Kirby, he will hold him and allow one of his smaller versions to hit Kirby. He yields the Ghost ability, and is the first unlockable mini-boss within the Kirby series.

Twin Woods[edit | edit source]

A twin version of Whispy Woods from Kirby Super Star, Twin Woods attacks very similarly to Whispy Woods, plus, they also have some of their own moves. Sometimes, they'll spin their faces, dropping apples, Gordos, and fuzzy worm-looking bugs (the bugs cannot be inhaled), plus they'll sometimes exchange part of their bodies.

Waiu (Waiyu)[edit | edit source]

A ninja from Kirby's Dream Land 2 who is the hardest to defeat. He flashes around the screen and quickly fires cutters as well as stars. Inhale him for the Cutter ability.

Wham Bam Rock[edit | edit source]

The final boss in Kirby Super Star in The Great Cave Offensive. He attacks with a stone hand which has different patterns and is the only vulnerable part of him. The hand would be the forerunner for the Master Hand and Crazy Hand[citation needed].

Whispy Woods[edit | edit source]

A tree from many games that drops apples onto Kirby, damaging him. It has made the most appearances besides King Dedede.

Wiz[edit | edit source]

A wizard monster from Kirby & the Amazing Mirror who is invincible in its hat form. Possibly the mirror version of Paint Roller.

Yadogaine[edit | edit source]

The Yadogaine is another mecha also piloted by Doc of the Squeak Squad. It appears to look like a robotic hermit crab with a spiked shell, and slowly chases Kirby through a slowly automatically scrolling area in the ruins, hurling rocks at him for him to inhale and spit back at it in the process. It also hurls blocks that land on the floor, which are easily inhaled as ammo, and shoots fireballs at Kirby. It is the boss of Level 4: Jam Jungle in Kirby: Squeak Squad.

Yuki[edit | edit source]

A snowman from Kirby's Dream Land 3. He jumps around and fires his head and two other snowballs at Kirby. Inhale him for the Ice ability. "Yuki" is the Japanese word for "snow", hence the mini-boss' element.
