Sicilian Invitation (Réti Opening)[edit]

Black invites white to transpose into the Sicilian Defence with 2.e4. White has a number of other choices here. 2.c4 transposes into a Symmetrical English. Many other moves are possible—the position is still very flexible for both sides.
