Subfamily Cornoideae
Cornus
The genus Cornus (the dogwoods) are here organized by the subgenera used by VASCAN[1] for this genus. The subgenera are further placed into two groups based on the general fruit color, which has been shown to fairly reflect the phylogenic relationship within this genus.[2]
|
Cornus with blue or white fruit
The dogwood taxa in the clade with blue or white fruit are sometimes placed in the genus Swida Opiz (1838).[1]
