Bunny chow is a fast food dish that originated from South Africans of Durban consisting of white bread and salad . Skhambane  another dish that uses only quarter of the loaf of  bread is a variation of bunny chow common among various ethnic groups in South Africa.

Procedure[edit | edit source]

  1. Cook onion in a pan of oil until translucent
  2. Add curry powder and tomato , stir until it gives a sauce.
  3. Add meat to the sauce alongside ginger and curry leaves for 40 minutes when the meat is tender.
  4. Add the mixture into the hollows of bread and serve.

  • Any type of meat such as lamb, mutton, beef and chicken are used to prepare  the dish.it can also be served with vegetables, beans and potatoes.
  • Try serving with french fries.
