Tanfiri, also called donkwa, is a northern Nigerian snack often eaten by children. It is made with cornmeal and groundnut, and it melts in the mouth. It is sometimes confused with kuli kuli, although tanfiri does not requires cooking. At most northern Nigerian parties, organizers serve tanfiri as a party starter.
