OMG your dog is sooo cute! I'm sorry, I completely melt over dachshunds! I have one myself. Haha and his name is Charlie too, except he is a boy! I have a picture of him on my page. He is a bit of a fatty though, (haha) but we are on a diet so hopefully he will start shedding some pounds. Just had to comment on how cute your puppy is. Oh and congrats on the engagement!

Ew, I just want to warn you, be careful about feeding them too much. Dachshunds loove to eat and will even eat after they are full. Charlie just got over being very sick. He lost complete feeling in one of his legs. He had a herniaed disc problem in his neck. I don't know the cause of it, but I'm sure his weight did not help matters. They have a lot of neck and back problems, obviously because they are so long. But I found an awesome vet that cured him and kept him from surgery. But they are amazing dogs and I would not trade Char-Char for nothing! :) Cweid002 (talk) 06:09, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
I live in Virginia Beach, off Rosemont Rd. in the Birchwood area. Just to give you a landmark since your not from around here, there's a 24hr Rite Aid at the corner of Rosemont and VA Bch Blvd. Bay Beach Vet is where I take Charlie, they are great and very kind. It is just up the street by Princess Anne High School. But I'm actually taking him to a vet/chiropractor right now to get him back to normal. He has a whole different way of treating dogs. He's good if your dog needs any kind of reajusting or if he pulled a muscle. (Charlie has pulled his back from going up and down the stairs and jumping off furniture a bunch of times) :(
