Poundo yam is a swallow made from yam flour. It is similar to pounded yam; however, this version is made with yam flour and does not require a mortar and pestle. It can be served with ẹfọ riro, ogbono soup, or ẹgusi soup.

- Yam flour
Procedure
[edit | edit source]- Boil water using a pot.
- While stirring slowly, pour yam flour until the mixture is lump-free and smooth.
- Add a small quantity of water and cook for few minutes.
- Serve with the soup of your choice.
