These oatcakes are a sort of savory pancake.

Ingredients

• Rolled oats
• Plain flour
• Salt
• Egg
• Milk
• Water
• Carrots, peeled and grated
• Peas
• Sausage, cut into small pieces
• Banana, peeled and cut into small pieces
• Vegetable oil

Procedure

1. Grind the oats to a fine powder.
2. Combine the oats, plain flour, and a pinch of salt.
3. Combine the egg, milk, and water. Stir into the flour mixture to get a thin batter.
4. Gently mix in the carrots, peas, sausage, and banana.
5. Heat a thin layer of oil in a pan. Spoon in the batter to make small pancakes. Cook on both sides, then remove from the heat.
6. Serve hot.
