These oatcakes are a sort of savory pancake.

- Rolled oats
- Plain flour
- Salt
- Egg
- Milk
- Water
- Carrots, peeled and grated
- Peas
- Sausage, cut into small pieces
- Banana, peeled and cut into small pieces
- Vegetable oil
Procedure[edit | edit source]
- Grind the oats to a fine powder.
- Combine the oats, plain flour, and a pinch of salt.
- Combine the egg, milk, and water. Stir into the flour mixture to get a thin batter.
- Gently mix in the carrots, peas, sausage, and banana.
- Heat a thin layer of oil in a pan. Spoon in the batter to make small pancakes. Cook on both sides, then remove from the heat.
- Serve hot.
