Custard Powder

Cookbook | Recipes | Ingredients

Custard powder is a powder than is cooked with milk and sugar to make a custard. It typically contains starch (e.g. cornstarch), milk powder, vanilla powder or vanilla sugar, and yellow food coloring. Commercially-available custard powders may include additional components, such as thickeners, emulsifiers, or flavorings. Custard powder should not be confused with instant pudding.
