  1. Soak, peel, and drain the chickpeas.
  2. Blend the peeled chickpeas with chopped onions, pepper, and crayfish with warm water in batches.
  3. Pour the purée into a bowl, and season with salt and oil. Mix well.
  4. Divide the mixture into molds, and place in a steamer.
  5. Steam for 40 minutes. Remove from the steamer and unmold.
