Here are the ways to use the Bikol word for 'yes' to affirm every statement said. The Bikol word 'iyo' (ee-YAW) literally means 'yes'.

1) as an expression of feeling surprised.

2) as a form of polite insisting.
Example:
Maghugas ka nin mga pinggan, iyo?
Do the dishes, okay?

3) 'iyo na' is an expression used to mean 'already done'.

4) 'iyong iyo' is an expression used to mean 'over and over again'.
Example:
Iyong iyo na sana an piggigibo niya.
He is doing the same thing over and over again.

5) 'iyo' can be used together with the particles 'ngani' and 'baga'.
