Historical Disasters and Tragedies
An educational reference covering the details of historical natural and man-made disasters, tragedies, and their victims.
This work-in-progress includes historical disasters and tragedies sorted chronologically and geographically. Each event will be a separate subpage, and include any details related to the event, presented in an educational and historically instructive manner. If possible, events will have associated details about victims, either directly in the page about the event, or, if there were numerous victims, in a separate subpage. Victims lists should either be placed on Wikisource (in the case of public domain, original source lists), in the actual event page (if they are sufficiently short), or on a separate subpage of the event. The latter two cases correspond to victims lists that have been created by the users, compiled from various other sources; in these cases, it is crucial that all details are properly referenced.
