Miyan geda ("groundnut soup") is a northern Nigerian dish. It is commonly served with tuwo shinkafa, but it can also be served with ẹba, fufu, and other swallows.

Procedure[edit | edit source]

  1. Combine beef, daddawa, garlic, ginger, sliced onion, and a pinch of salt in a pot. Cook until the meat is tender.
  2. When meat is tender, add ground tatashe, palm oil, ground crayfish, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Add dried fish and water. Bring to a boil, and simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Stir in the ground groundnut and spinach. Simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Serve with semo, fufu, ẹba, or tuwo shinkafa.
