Kunun tamba is a porridge made from finger millet. It is common in the northern part of Nigeria.

  1. Wash the tamba and dry with a clean cloth.
  2. Mix tamba with ginger. Grind the mixture until smooth.
  3. Allow the ground mixture to cool down, then sieve the chaff to give a fine texture.
  4. Boil water in a pot and add the tamba powder gradually, stirring gently to make a smooth mixture.
  5. Add milk and sugar, then whisk until smooth and lump-free.
