Ayaraya oka is a typical Igbo food made from pigeon peas and corn. It is served with ẹgusi soup, oha soup, or okro soup.

Procedure[edit | edit source]

  1. Pick any dirt or debris from the pigeon peas. Rinse them, then soak in water.
  2. Rinse corn, and add salt to taste.
  3. Boil pigeon peas and corn together for few minutes.
  4. Add palm oil, beef, ground crayfish, ground pepper, and seasoning cube. Stir, then cook for few minutes.
  5. Serve.
