Ruy Lopez, Riga Variation, Main Line[edit | edit source]

Black takes the hanging knight. White should reciprocate by moving 14. Kxh2. All other moves are inferior, as anything but Kxh2 or g3 will allow the bishop to get away. Moving g3 traps the bishop, but allows it to take another pawn before it dies.
