Pronunciation files

It's great that you record audio files with Hungarian pronunciation. I only have one request: please upload your file to Commons, not here. Files on Commons can be use everywhere - for example, in Wiktionary in various languages.

It's important to name files properly on Commons and put them in categories - because Wiktionary has a bot that automatically adds pronunciation files to entries and it has to distinguish big and small letters. Proper naming looks like that: Image:Hu-szomjas.ogg (instead of Image:Szomjas.ogg). If you want to see how proper files look, see commons:Image:Pl-fakt.ogg or commons:Image:Hu-tüdöödéma.ogg. --Derbeth ^talk 21:55, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

No. You have to use another server - Wikimedia Commons. When you upload files there, they appear here as they were uploaded here locally - so there is no problem. Please do not upload you files here; such useful files should be made public in Commons. --Derbeth ^talk 19:51, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
