Proofreading Center
[edit source]Some things still have to be done by speakers of Serbian. Please leave a note about what you are doing or have done in the following list of tasks.
The monolingual page has to be proof-read by someone who knows Serbian well; please correct the mistakes you find and make a list of your corrections here, so that other people can use your list to correct the bilingual pages. While doing this, look if someone else has already listed mistakes they spotted on this talk page.
Bilingual pages
[edit source]The bilingual pages should be proof-read after the monolingual page is corrected, so that the mistakes spotted there can already be used. Please have a look at the talk pages of the bilingual pages, too, to see if someone else has already made comments about mistakes there.
- Serbian-Russian (proof-read, see talk page)
- Serbian-Belarusian (proof-read, see talk page)
- Serbian-Ukrainian (proof-read, see talk page)
- Serbian-Polish (proof-read, see talk page)

Maps
[edit source]Someone should look through the semasiological maps of those words where there have been mistakes in the monolingual page and adapt them.
Translations needed
[edit source]Please translate the sentence redirecting people to this talk page into Serbian.- Done. --George D. Bozovic talk 00:01, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Please translate the sentence about the languages at the top of this talk page.- Done. --George D. Bozovic talk 00:01, 16 March 2006 (UTC)- The bilingual pages should have headings in the respective languages, in separate lines (i.e. with an empty line between them in the edit window) below the main heading. So we need the following Serbian translations:
- "<center>'''Serbian-Belarusian false friends'''</center>" below {{FFHead...}} (above the Belarusian heading, if it exists) at the head of the Serbian-Belarusian page.
- "<center>'''Serbian-Polish false friends'''</center>" below {{FFHead...}} (above the Polish heading, if it exists) at the head of the Serbian-Polish page.
- "<center>'''Serbian-Kashubian false friends'''</center>" below {{FFHead...}} (above the Kashubian heading, if it exists) at the head of the Serbian-Kashubian page.
- "<center>'''Serbian-Lower Sorbian false friends'''</center>" below {{FFHead...}} (above the Lower Sorbian heading, if it exists) at the head of the Serbian-Lower Sorbian page.
- "<center>'''Serbian-Upper Sorbian false friends'''</center>" below {{FFHead...}} (above the Upper Sorbian heading, if it exists) at the head of the Serbian-Upper Sorbian page.
- "<center>'''Serbian-Czech false friends'''</center>" below {{FFHead...}} (above the Czech heading, if it exists) at the head of the Serbian-Czech page.
- "<center>'''Serbian-Slovak false friends'''</center>" below {{FFHead...}} (above the Slovak heading, if it exists) at the head of the Serbian-Slovak page.
- "<center>'''Serbian-Slovenian false friends'''</center>" below {{FFHead...}} (above the Slovenian heading, if it exists) at the head of the Serbian-Slovenian page.
- "<center>'''Serbian-Macedonian false friends'''</center>" above {{FFStart}} (under the Macedonian heading, if it exists) at the head of the Serbian-Macedonian page.

Kofer/кофер
[edit source]What is kofer in Serbian, only suitcase as in what businessmen carry or also large suitcases for traveling? We have kovčeg in Std Croatian and also kofer in Zagreb/Kajkavian area for all suitcases that are typically be carried with one arm, but definitely not a large traditional box/chest which would be škrinja (which also means -20*C freezer in some regions). 78.3.89.31 (discuss) 21:00, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
