Stardew Valley
An unofficial strategy guide to the farming lifestyle simulation game.

Introduction[edit | edit source]

Stardew Valley is an open ended farming simulation game. It also includes adventure elements, where you explore an abandoned mine and caves, and fight enemies there. There are also social aspects where one of the goals is to befriend your neighbors. You can even date, marry, and have children in the game. Other activities include fishing, mining, and cooking. The game is open ended, meaning that although there is a main story, it's not really critical to progress in the game, and you can continue with new activities long after the main story is complete.

Although the game uses pixel graphics, and has a generally cartoony appearance, it is not intended for your children. Alcohol and tobacco use are depicted, and adult themes play a part in the story.
