Puredyne/QuickStart

From Wikibooks, open books for an open world
1.Download Puredyne
Download Puredyne from http://puredyne.org/download.html . You can choose the CD or DVD version. (For a USB stick, we recommend the DVD version, but either will work.)
2. Burn the iso file
Burn the iso file onto a CD, DVD or store it on a USB key, depending on which iso you downloaded.
3. Reboot your computer
Insert the DVD/CD or USB key into your computer, and reboot. You should now be booting pure:dyne, which will automatically log in as the "live user" and load the desktop.
If your computer doesn't automatically boot from CD, DVD or USB, change your BIOS settings so that the CD, DVD or USB is first in the boot sequence, and the hard drive after.
