Location of Dongguan in Guangdong

Dongguan is a prefecture-level city administered by Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China. It is situated at the east of the Zhu Jiang River Mouth, and has borders with Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Huizhou. It has an area of 2,465km2, with a population of more than 8 million. Dongguan is one of the "Guangdong Four Tigers". It is an important industrial city in the Zhu Jiang Delta, and is an important city of international processing industry.
