Planks are required to make many things, such as crafting sticks , for buildings, and creating a bed etc. It is one of the first blocks you should obtain. However, do not build a house entirely of planks/wood/wood products, unless it is the only thing that you can use. Doing so risks setting the whole building ablaze, and it is very weak to explosions ,like explosions from Creepers.
Obtaining
[edit | edit source]They are a block made from tree logs. They are also be found in most naturally spawning structures.
