P.04 - Change in Publication Date[edit | edit source]

Change In "Radio World" Publication Date New Scheme Will Give Commonwealth-Wide Distribution By First Of Month. Readers are advised that the next issue of "Radio World," to be published on July 15, will be the July-August issue. The following issue, published on August 15, will be the September issue, and this arrangement will then be maintained subsequently. In this way, by publishing each issue a fortnight or so before its actual date of publication, readers throughout the Commonwealth should receive their copies on the first of the month of issue, while subscribers whose copies are mailed direct should receive the magazine a few days earlier. This plan is being adopted in response to enquiries from inter-state readers, asking if some new arrangement could be adopted whereby they could receive their copies earlier than a fortnight or so after date of publication, which for the past ten issues has been the tenth of the month. From now on readers will still continue to receive the "Radio World" on approximately the same date of the month as in the past, but from the September issue onward, the "Radio World" will be distributed throughout the Commonwealth by date of publication.
