Robert Greatham Chatfield was a prominent amateur operator, amateur broadcaster, amateur club member and administrator from 1925 through at least 1955. His station callsign was 2AV (2=NZ second district, A=?, V=?) and he operated from Wellington, New Zealand. A summary biography has not yet been prepared however the following resources have been assembled in preparation:
