Joseph Brown[edit | edit source]

Joseph Brown was a prominent amateur operator, amateur broadcaster, amateur club administrator from the mid 1930s through 1980s. He was a broadcast technician in the Postmaster-General's Department working at 7ZL and later the Hobart ABC TV station. His station callsign was 7BJ (7=Tasmania, B=Brown, J=Joseph) and he operated from Hobart, Tasmania.
