Douglas George Sanderson was broadcast engineer with the Postmaster General's Department from the 1930s, rising to a senior position in Telstra Broadcasting Branch in Queensland before its ultimate demise. His booklet "On The Air" completed in 1988 is the definitive technical history of the National Broadcasting Service in Queensland. A summary biography has not yet been prepared however the following resources have been assembled in preparation:
