Clifford Henry Yarburgh "Cliff" Gold was a prominent amateur operator, amateur broadcaster, amateur club administrator in the late 1920s and early 1930s, then joined his uncle 4EG at Ted's commercial station 4GG. His station callsign was 4CG (4=Queensland, C=Cliff, G=Gold) and he operated from Brisbane, Queensland.
