The VTech Variety was released in 1983.[1] Little more is known about the history of the console.

Technology[edit | edit source]

The CPU and LCD for the System is located on the cartridge.[1][2][3]

Notable games[edit | edit source]

At least six games were released for the VTech Variety.[1] Some game cartridges had dual layer LCDs to contain two games in one package, increasing portability.[1]
