The Tomytronic 3D was released in 1983.[1] The handheld console used binocular style housing and was one of the first gaming systems to create a stereoscopic effect.[2]
Technology[edit | edit source]
The Tomytronic 3D used external light through a window to light up the twin LCD displays used by the console.[1][3]
The system was made in Japan.[4]

The handheld was a dedicated console, containing one of the following games depending on the model.[5]
