The console was announced on August 5th, 2019.[1]

The PasocomMini PC-8001 was released by HAL Laboratory, Inc on October 5th, 2019.[2] The similar PCG8100 was also released.[3] The system was developed in collaboration with NEC.[4]

The system cost 27,280 Japanese Yen in 2022.[5]

The system was based on a Raspberry Pi Zero WH.[3]

Hardware[edit | edit source]

The system supported USB keyboards as input.[6]

Software[edit | edit source]

The system ran Microsoft N-Basic 1.1.[3]
