History[edit | edit source]

The Interton Video 2800 was released in 1977.[1]

Technology[edit | edit source]

The Interton 2800 is based on the Universal research Laboratories, Inc F-4301.[2]

This advanced chip allowed the system to support a mode which allowed a player to play against the console for the "Pong"-like games,[2][1] a rare feature in home consoles at the time.
