The system used a ARM Cortex A7 architecture processor clocked at 1.2 gigahertz. The system has 64 megabytes of DDR2 RAM.

The FunKey S has a screen with a resolution of 240 pixels by 240 pixels, a size of 1.52 inches, and a refresh rate of 50 hertz.[2]

The system is powered by a battery with a capacity of 410 mAh, lasting under two hours.[2] The system uses MicroUSB for charging.[1]
