Dr. Nim was a mechanical consumer computed dedicated to playing a single computer game released in the 1960's.[1]

Technology[edit | edit source]

Dr. Nim can play against a human opponent, or it can play against itself.[1] Dr. Nim also had a difficulty setting between perfect play which was between un-winnable without cheating, and winnable.[2]

Dr. Nim uses a special board and 18 marbles for operation.[3]
