The Prince of Elfland rules over the realm of Elfland. He was entrusted with the safekeeping of the Mystic Key by the rulers of Coneria when they sealed their Treasury to protect its contents from the Four Fiends 400 years ago.
He was cursed by Astos five years before the Light Warriors began their quest. The curse took the form of a deep sleep from which the Prince cannot awaken until cured with the Herb, which only Matoya is able to prepare.
