Sweetened condensed milk is a type of condensed milk with added sugar. This creates a thick syrup that can be used in various sweet preparations and beverages. Sweetened condensed milk is sometimes simply called "condensed milk" to distinguish it from unsweetened evaporated milk, although this can create ambiguity since sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk are both forms of condensed milk.
