It's now easy to find oat bran in the bulk section of the supermarket, but it's often hard to find the right ratios of bran, water and salt online. This is an original recipe.

Ingredients

• 2 tbsp oat bran
• 1 cup water
• ⅛ tsp salt

Procedure

1. Boil water.
2. Stir in oat bran and salt
3. Reduce heat and cook for 4–6 minutes

• Maple syrup and sliced bananas are great additions to oat bran cereal.
