- Vegetable oil
- Butter
- Mushrooms
- Pepper
- Thyme
- Salt
- Garlic, minced
- Milk
- Cornflour (cornstarch)
- Seasoning cube, crushed

Procedure[edit | edit source]
- Heat the vegetable and oil together in the pan.
- Add the mushrooms, pepper, thyme, and salt. Fry until the mushrooms brown, then add the garlic and fry well.
- Combine the milk and cornflour. Stir the slurry into the mushroom mixture. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens and is well-cooked.
- Stir in the seasoning cubes, lemon juice, and parsley. Cook for another minute.
- Taste for seasoning, and serve.
