Nigerian macaroni jollof is a special type of macaroni dish often eaten by children.

Procedure[edit | edit source]

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the macaroni, and cook until the pasta is tender. Drain the macaroni and reserve.
  2. Grind together the crayfish and peppers.
  3. Heat a thin layer of vegetable oil in a pan. Add the chopped onion, and cook until softened. Stir in the tomatoes, and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Season the tomato mixture with thyme, salt, and curry powder. Simmer for a short while.
  5. Stir in the macaroni and spring onions.
  6. Serve hot.
