  1. Coarsely blend the onions, pepper, and crayfish.
  2. Transfer the blended mixture to a pot, and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.
  3. Stir in the the dryfish, salt, stock cube.
  4. Combine the potash with a little hot water and palm oil.
  5. Stir the potash mixture into the pot. Cook for a few minutes.
  6. Stir in the ugwu leaves, and simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with boiled yam or boiled plantain.
