Thyme (Thymus vulgaris)

Thyme oil comes from the flowers and leaves of the Thymus vulgaris plant. It has a sweet herbal scent.

Increases blood pressure.

Emotional[edit]

Soothes stress, anxiety and depression. Improves memory and concentration.

Immunological[edit]

Helps fight colds, flu and other infections.

Respiratory[edit]

Eases asthma, catarrh, coughs and laryngitis.

Relieves cystitis and urethritis.

Caution[edit]

  • Don't use thyme oil during pregnancy.
  • Don't use if you have hypertension (high blood pressure).
