After this, Bb4+ is threatened and the queen is trapped on a7. Nc6, winning the queen, is also threatened. The only way to avoid loss of the queen is Bxc4 or, but after Bb4+ Bd2 Bxd2+ Kxd2 Bxc4, Black has two minor pieces for a rook and an attack, and he is close to winning.
