At-a-glance, interface and setup of Flash seems to be somewhat intuitive and direct. The main interface is broken up into these major areas: at the top of the screen is the main menu where "File," "Edit," and other options are available. Right below that is the timeline window where frames and animations are worked out in. The left side is taken up by the toolbar. At the bottom is the property inspector, and to the right are the color and instance panels, and finally the "stage" panel is in the center, where all of the work takes place.

Here is a list of the specific areas of the interface that we will be going into:

  1. Document Window
  2. Timeline Window
  3. Property Inspector
  4. Tool Bar
  5. Panels
