Article 31

Article 31[1]
Whoever engages in the business of sale or brokering of reproductive cells or embryos in respect of profit shall be punishable with imprisonment for not more than two years, detained and/or fined between NT$200,000 and NT$1 million.
Proceeds obtained from an offense described in the preceding paragraph shall be confiscated; where such proceeds cannot be confiscated either in part or in whole, an equivalent amount of money of the value of such proceeds shall be sought or other property shall be taken as a substitute.
